The newest Timezone FEC in Australia has opened, at the Strand Shopping Centre at Coolangatta, Gold Coast.

Timezone opening

Timezone Coolangatta offers guests more than 3,000sq.m of fun, and over 200 games and attractions, including full size bowling lanes, dodgems and laser skirmish.

“This new location marks a tremendous milestone for the Timezone brand, being the second location on the Gold Coast,” said Sonaal Chopra, group CEO, Timezone.

“Strategically located in close proximity to Coolangatta airport on the southern end of the coast, it offers both domestic and international visitors as well as local residents a new entertainment destination.”

“Our choice of Coolangatta is based on research that has helped highlight the gaps in the market, and our new family entertainment centre we believe is the right product to meet those needs,” said Jamin Jacub, Timezone Gold Coast operations manager.

“The Timezone Coolangatta centre will complement our already highly successful Surfers Paradise location, as well as provide additional jobs on the Southern Gold Coast.”

It is expected the new Timezone, which is situated on Level 1 at The Strand Shopping Centre will entice locals and holiday makers looking for family-friendly fun in the Gold Coast’s most southerly suburbs, as it joins BCC Cinemas on Level 2 to complement The Strand’s entertainment offering.

Timezone is now the leading chain of out-of-home interactive venues in Australasia, with over 200 FECs operating in Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Philippines, India and Singapore.
