Pan Amusements will use its 15th consecutive appearance at IAAPA to present new developments in feature animation for its shooting galleries.
A completely new themed gallery, F. Aulty Repair Shop, has been specially designed to showcase these innovations.
"We’ve concentrated on multi-action animated features as much as characterisation. All movements are more unusual and exciting than ever before," says Pan managing director Paul Whittaker.
"When the visitor hits the targets with the infra-red beam the features really come to life. An example from the new gallery is a boiler where the bottom opens up as a mouth, panels come back to reveal eyes, arms come out and the whole thing, including rickety piping, shakes."
This move to increase the fun has enabled Pan to sell over 600 galleries worldwide. "The demand for electronic galleries is growing and widening well beyond theme parks," added Whittaker.
"We want customers old and new, whatever their operation, to see that while this is old-fashioned style entertainment the technology and entertainment value are bang up to date. All new features presented can be incorporated into our standard galleries, bespoke themed galleries or any animated attraction."
