A new mini-golf bar will soon be opening in the Lakeview neighbourhood of the US city.

Work is currently underway on the Lakeview Big Mini Putt Club which will offer a nine hole course, arcade games and slushies.

It will be operated by co-owners Nicholas Jenkins and Austin DeLonge who run the Big Mini Putt Club in the Wicker Park area of the city, reports Chicago.eater.com.

The duo designed the holes at the new venue which covers a space of just under 8,000 sq.ft.

The Big Mini Putt Club website states that its original course and bar design “hearkens back to simpler times: when you could spend your summer nights challenging your family, friends, and/or foes to a couple rounds of mini-golf - then cool off with a slushie.”

It adds that the course was designed and built to be “challenging yet fun for all skill levels.”

Big Mini Lakeview will also offer classic video games and tabletop golf games designed by the co-owners.
