Kevin Williams of immersive out-of-home entertainment consultancy KWP, in collaboration with a number of facility operators, has compiled a simple reference sheet called the "Operators Guide: Amusement Support Primer".
The new guide builds on practical experience, giving an overview of the unique needs of the game room and in particular, various categories of game hardware and best practise in cleaning and ensuring players and staff are safe and happy.
Following on from “Top 16 Entertainment Operation Priorities Post Covid-19” and “Operators Guide: How to Answer Difficult Questions”, this latest in an ongoing series of informative guides is shared free with the industry.
The guide covers a wide variety of topics, including the general layout of the game floor, appropriate arrangements for different types of games and additional points to watch out for.
It has been created to address concerns and share approaches, as the industry moves forward to reopening operations.
