Day two of this week's ENADA trade show in Rome was mobbed as Italian operators prepared themselves for the new era of video lottery terminals.

One of the three halls the exhibitors occupied was given over almost completely to the VLT manufacturers and concessionaires. But there was some frustration with the legislative process. Many companies have invested heavily in the market but things are moving very slowly.

The array of products on view however was impressive, with some of the world’s largest gaming machine manufacturers buying for a slice of market share.
