An entertainment concept that is "new to Dubai" is promised by Al Futtaim, the community shopping development company, with its upcoming Festival Plaza, that will open in December.
The huge precinct coverts 64,800sq.m and will serve the expanding Wasl Gate suburb of the city.
The venue will have flagship stores in Ikea, Ace and M&S, plus the new entertainment concept that Al Futtaim is not detailing yet. A new concept store from Lulu is also planned. The Ikea branch will be the second and largest to open in Dubai with 30,000sq.m of space.
There will be 120 stores in all and a 500-seat food court. For family entertainment there will be a stay and play venue and a kids’ club.
