A major new visitor attraction in Belfast, UK, has been boosted by the City Council approving its plans.
The £93m site at Giant’s Park, North Foreshore (pictured), will feature four distinct areas: a welcome hub, a leisure and sports innovation hub, an adventure hub and a theme park hub. It would be built across a 250 acre portion of the 340 acre former landfill site.
It is hoped that the redevelopment will create anything up to 200 construction jobs, employ up to 1,400 people and be complete by 2026.
