The Australian subsidiary of Nayax, the cash payment systems company, has announced that from August 20,000 Nayax-powered vending and amusement machines in unattended retail businesses will be working with leading payment brands, eftpos, American Express and JCB.
Nayax Australia said that this comes after the recent integrations of Wechat Pay and Alipay and the addition of other popular payment schemes. “Nayax has now solidified its position as the most accepted cashless provider in Australia.”
It reported that there are around seven million eftpos proprietary cards in the country that will now be enabled for use in the Nayax cashless payment solution and now that American Express and JCB have been added an even greater number of transactions can take place.
The CEO of eftpos Stephen Benton said: “When this capability is turned on in August for the first time, eftpos cardholders will be able to pay at unattended businesses, including vending machines, Laundromats, car washs, arcades, children’s rides, and more.”
