There is a growing number of street operators now choosing to attend the ICE trade show in February, early results from the show’s independently-audited attendance records suggest.

This year there were 1,600 of them and more than half came from outside of the UK. The initial results show that those "street operators" represented all sectors of the industry - arcades, FECs and other locations outside of casino and internet gambling operations.

Our understanding of the situation - ahead of the release of all the official stats from the ICE show - is that the figures for the street market include operators from both the AWP sector and the amusements business.

That area of the wider industry has generally been taken care of by other shows, including the European Amusement Show, run by IAAPA, and the European Amusement and Gaming Expo, run by UK trade association BACTA. The latter show is, like ICE, located at ExCeL in London and held generally two or three weeks prior to the casino show.
