The continuing reorganisation of the management of Germany’s Merkur Gaming has seen Athanasios Isaakidis and Stefan Bruns become the latest additions to the Merkur team.
This move follows the appointment of Charles Hiton, who has succeeded the late Jens Halle at the company.
The newcomers will head up the operating activities at Merkur. They will “continue to promote the consolidation and expansion of the games system in the global sales market,” said Gauselmann Group sales director Jürgen Stühmeyer.
Isaaakidis takes over as senior director for international sales, looking after Merkur’s sales activities. He has 19 years’ experience in the gaming industry and previously worked for the former Atronic subsidiary in the 1990s and early 2000s.
Bruns becomes head of product management for international markets as Merkur speeds up the development of its own product and services offering. Since March 2014, Bruns has successfully supported Gauselmann on a number of international projects.
