A long-dormant Camera 12 cinema site in San Jose, California, US, is to be turned into a new mini-golf venue.
Urban Catalyst has announced Urban Putt has signed a lease in its 100,000sq.ft Paseo development.
With locations already in San Francisco and Denver, Urban Putt has been described as a fun spot for young adults, professionals and families alike.
Steve Fox, founder of Urban Putt, said: “San Jose will get a fun destination that’s perfect for a broad range of folks, from entire families on weekends to millennials enjoying a night out, from students at nearby San Jose State University to team-building events and company celebrations.”
The Paseo development is one of six projects in downtown San Jose financed through Urban Catalyst’s first Opportunity Zone fund.
Construction is expected to be complete by July 2022.
