Golfer's Edge Chennai is a new golf experience for the Alwarpet region of Chennai.
The tech-driven venue includes a virtual golf simulator and 170sq.ft putting green, and is aimed at people of all age groups.
Co-founders Bharath Arvind and Hari Natarajan told The Hindu that they wanted it to be a "cosy and comfortable space,” and that “when people come they should only have to bring themselves. We take care of the rest."
The location features a panoramic image of the iconic St Andrews Old Course in Scotland by the putting green.
Guests can also order food while the simulator can be adjusted to play games like zombie golf and soccer golf.
The Golfer's Edge Chennai also uses the MyPathway2Golf app, installed as part of a partnership with Scottish golf design and manufacturer Golphin.
Golphin also accredits children and young adult players who complete classes at Golfer's Edge with certificates. To continue the learning curve, the centre will also soon be opening a summer camp for kids 7-12.
