Milliken, UK-based manufacturer of the SuperPro pool cloth, is to sponsor pool professional Daryl Peach.
The 39-year-old, from Yorkshire, is one of the world’s top pool players who, in 2007, became the first Brit to win the World Pool Association’s nine-ball world championships.
Milliken marketing manager Stuart Gardiner said Peach is a highly-talented member of pool’s elite. "Daryl has twice been in the Mosconi Cup winning team and has held the number one spot on GB9, the Euro tour and world rankings. He has over 120 titles to his name, including three world titles, and is the UK’s most prolific tournament winner ever.
"Daryl is also the first British pool player to win a world championship in American pool and we are delighted he has joined us to promote our SuperPro brand throughout the world."
Peach, who recently signed to the professional sports agency Cue King Promotions, added: "I am proud to promote such a prominent brand. SuperPro is an excellent product and is played on at many professional tournaments around the world."
