The 18th Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure Show opened today at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The show was smaller than in recent years, due no doubt to the recent political problems in the region. Visitor attendance during the first couple of hours looked healthy enough and there seemed to be a good mix of international visitors.

Giant Middle East distributor ASI once again had the largest stand at the show, with rival Warehouse of Games also having a prominent presence at the front of the hall.

The UK's United Distributing Company had a major stand and the show was further enhanced by the presence of ICE, Qubica, Sacoa, Intercard, Embed, Injoy, Elton Games, Falgas, Coin Tech, Whitehouse Leisure and several of the major Chinese manufacturers.
