The funeral of Michael Green, sales director at United Distributing Company in London, was held on Wednesday at the Jewish Crematorium, Golders Green London.
Michael, who was 82 and one of the best-known UK industry characters internationally, died last week after a long illness. Mourners were headed by his wife, Hilary.
There was a strong turnout from the UK industry. Many well-known faces were among the packed congregation in the crematorium to hear tributes made to Michael who had a 60-year career in the industry.
Afterwards there was a gathering of the mourners at a location close to Michael and Hilary’s home in Hertfordshire.
