MGD ‘to clear doubts’

The introduction of machine games duty in the UK from February next year will provide clarity for the industry, it has been claimed.

UDC director and chairman Derek Horwood told InterGame that MGD could be of benefit to FEC operators.

“We consider that the introduction of MGD will clear the floor of many of the problems and doubts about which many of the operators of FECs envisaged before the guidelines were published,” he said.
