Merkur, the Germany-based gaming group, has added to its staff in the Americas with the appointment of eight new employees.

Merkur expands Americas team

Keith Moore joins the company’s Americas division and its US subsidiary Sunshine Games as chief IP counsel. With 22 years’ experience as a practising attorney, including 17 years of IP experience, he has previously worked with several of the gaming industry’s leading manufacturing companies.

Brad Broderick has been appointed business development executive in the US and will be covering operations in both the land-based and internet gaming disciplines from a commercial perspective.

Taking on the role of new media marketing specialist is Geovanna Soberón, while the company’s technical team is further strengthened through the arrival of Raul Simon as service technician.

Maria Virginia Bocci has been named finance and administrative manager of Merkur Gaming Argentina, the latest addition to the roster of the company’s Americas subsidiaries.

The Peru team has been considerably bolstered by the appointment of Ronald Diaz as commercial manager, while Helmut Arlt has been promoted from his previous role in product analysis and marketing to now become sales executive. Also new in Peru is Miriam Vera Valcarcel, who becomes the company’s commercial coordinator.

In Mexico, Ricardo Espinosa assumes the key role of product manager. He has 10 years’ experience as a systems engineer in the gaming industry and his technical knowledge will be an important asset in this, one of Merkur Gaming’s fastest growing subsidiaries.
