Following Merkur Gaming’s entry into the Bulgarian market in early 2016, the company presented at the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo (BEGE) for the first time in November.
The Gauselmann subsidiary presented the Merkurstar, the Avantgarde SLT and the Avantgarde SLT Trio – three multigame HD products that a number of Bulgarian operators have already included in their portfolio.
Markus Wessler, international sales director, said: “After a successful market launch earlier this year, we took the decision to participate in the trade fair. At BEGE, it became clear that this was absolutely the right decision, as it enabled us to reach customers from the entire Balkan region, who gave us positive feedback across the board.”
Athanasios Isaakidis said: “Customers in the Balkan region make high demands on product quality – they should be especially high-tech, with a surprise element and high-paced games. This is precisely what we at Merkur Gaming offer, allowing us to meet the requirements of both operators and customers.”
The company intends to attend BEGE again in 2017.
