A tourist hotspot in Sao Paulo, Brazil, is looking to open what it claims is the longest zipline in the world.

Socorro, in the Serra de Mantiqueria mountains is planning the construction of a 3.4km attraction.
Announced this week, its hoped that the attraction will be open by January 2025 at the Mega Park Turismo de Aventura. The current longest zipline in the world is in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
Mega Park has contracted MSV Adventure, veteran of over 250 projects, to build the new attraction.
The location already features a number of ecotourism attractions, including hiking and rappelling, with some of the most beautiful scenery in Brazil.
