The largest sports hall in the world is set to open near Deira City Centre, Dubai in the first quarter of 2020, it has been announced by developer Viva City.

The Sport Society project will fall into line with the Dubai Fitness Challenger, initiated by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai.

The three-storey building will provide the opportunity for Dubai citizens to work out for the 30 minutes recommended in the Dubai Fitness Challenge. Viva said that a major tenpin bowling venue would be included in the project, plus gym, indoor cricket, climbing walls, ice rink and soft play.
