Innovative Technology, a UK-based provider of banknote validation and recycling technology, recently added Paolo Mattavelli to its Italian operations as a customer support engineer.

Mattavelli will be based at the company’s Milan office delivering both remote and field-based technical support across its network of gaming, amusement, retail and vending customers.
Stefano Mandelli, business development manager for Innovative Technology, said: “Paolo has over 15 years’ experience in the industry having previously worked for some of our major customers. He already has an in-depth knowledge of Innovative Technology products. He is well-known in the industry and has a wealth of both technical and commercial experience of payment systems, making him ideal for the position. Having already met many of our customers, he is providing excellent sales support, product integration assistance and customer management.”
Mattavelli said: “My role is to offer technical support for Innovative Technology’s Italian customer base and responsibilities include providing hands-on experience of software integration, installations, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and product training. My role includes travel across Italy and southern Europe, meeting customers across the region.”
