A water park with 35 slides and 25 pools is included in a new wellness centre that is planned for the Trafford Centre on the outskirts of Manchester, UK.

The Therme spa will cost £250m and will also include 30 saunas in an urban oasis next to the massive retail park at Trafford. The 28-acre site is far larger than the existing Theme in Bucharest, Romania, that opened in 2016.

It will be glass-domed, will also have a range of steam rooms, gymnasium and 1,500 palm trees with all kinds of other innovations, including roof-top bee hives all supporting a botanical garden. It is expected to open in 2023.
