Despite the economic crisis which is currently hitting the industry, Italian manufacturer Magic Dreams experienced a successful IGE and received a lot of interest in its newest titles, Return of the Phoenix and Rock 'n' Fish.
"The second day has been much better for us and we thought we would see a drop in visitors but this doesn’t appear to have been the case," said the company’s Marta Datta. "To cope with the economical climate we are aiming to provide customers with more flexibility than ever before over the next year.
"At Magic Dreams we pride ourselves on low cost products but don’t compromise when it comes to quality."
IGE might have been the first European showing of Return of the Phoenix, but the product has already been launched in the South American market and a bank of six are currently on test in Venice Casino.
Commenting on the manufacturer’s performance generally, Datta told InterGame: "We have a very stable presence in western Europe and we are growing fast in South America and have opened an office in Argentina.
"We are continuously trying to reach new territories but we need to continue to improve our software at the same time. Customisation is also key to us as a lot of the big players work on such a massive scale that they are unable to offer such a facility."
