The project, worth an estimated EGP4bn (£357m), is due to open in 2019 and will feature 103,455sq.m of retail space, 23 restaurants, 18 food court outlets and nine cafes. It will also boast a 13,000sq.m Carrefour supermarket, a 16-screen VOX cinema and a 1,800sq.m Magic Planet family entertainment centre.
Egypt, said Alain Bejjani, CEO of MAF Holding, is the company’s second-largest market after the UAE. In total, MAF plans to invest EGP23bn in the country to develop several retail and leisure complexes.
