The longest and highest zip line in the Philippines is to be built in Talisayan, Misamis Oriental.

Work has now started on constructing the zip line which will stretch over two kilometers, starting from the Sipaka Heights tourist attraction, offering riders views of the scenic landscape.
The mayor of the region, Rico Taray, was reported as saying: “This has been a long-standing dream of the people of Talisayan, and now it’s finally coming true,” adding that he believes that it will attract more tourists to the region.
The project has cost P50m (US$890,000).
