Tenpin bowling centres, soft play venues and casinos are among the businesses that can reopen across certain parts of northern England that had been closed as a local lockdown programme.
Greater Manchester, and the countries of Lancashire and West Yorkshire are having their restrictions eased from tomorrow. Skating rinks, conference centres and exhibition halls can also resume with the exception of the large town of Bolton, where the pandemic infection rate remains high.
The affected areas now fall into line with the rest of England. There is now a pattern of targeting affected towns and cities rather then the entire country with lockdowns.
