Phase two of Washington DC’s programme for businesses in light of the Covid-19 pandemic permits limited reopening of family entertainment centres.

Also included in the plans are tenpin bowling centres, museums, casinos and theatres. 

The locations have been closed since the middle of last November by governor Jay Inslee, a closure that was repeated for phase one of the reopening programme. Under phase two, the regulations are relaxed to the degree that at least 25 per cent capacity is now permitted.

We understand that some operators are taking the opportunity to open, while others are evaluating the costs against likely income in face of capacity limits and are continuing to watch the situation.
