Gaming and esports venue Level Tap, the first of its kind for the city of Liverpool, is set to open later this month.

The new 6,500sq.ft venue for Liverpool will host and broadcast live events form around the world, spread across two levels on Hanover Street.
Level Tap's mezzanine level is where streamers and competing teams play with the ability to broadcast gameplay onto projectors and TVs around the venue. On the lower level, gaming booths contain a Nintendo Switch and either a PS5 or an Xbox Series X. Games ranging from FPS, Sports and Racing to RPG’s, Strategy and Party will be available to play.
Alongside this, Level Tap will offer visitors entertainment from ten console stations, 20 PCs, custom-built retro arcade games from Roll Model Arcade of St Helens and two immersive racing simulators, also custom-built and supplied by AlphaSync at Ebuyer with ASUS and ROG components.

Co-founder Adam Rydings spoke about what makes the venue so special and what visitors can expect: “The ability to transition seamlessly within our venue from a traditional sports bar experience to an esports arena, to split screen sofa style gaming and to a racing simulator arcade, as well as having something for those who just want to enjoy a playing an arcade game or have a bite eat is what makes Level Tap unique.”
The company has also partnered with "Redbull and Liverpool's own" American Pizza Slice to provide F&B refreshments, with a bar, dining area and decompression lounge on Level Tap's lower level.
Level Tap opens May 25 in Liverpool.
