Dubai’s Sheikh Mohammed has approved 29 development projects worth a total of Dh6.6bn.
The UAE vice-president’s signature on the plans means around 8 million sq.m of parks and green spaces for the emirate’s residential and commercial areas.
The developments cover a wide range of different subjects from a new plant to develop energy from waste to developing 12km of the emirate’s beaches over an area of one million sq.m with more swimming areas, running paths and bicycle tracks.
