Three amusement and attractions trade associations made up a joint approach to the National Conference of State Legislators in the US this week.

The American Amusement Machine Association, the International Association of Trampoline Parks and the Roller-Skating Association International joined forces with a letter to the conference.
They requested consistency across leisure and entertainment industry sectors relating to the reopening and operating of their venues. They also sought state funding for leisure businesses as they try to sustain at restricted or no capacity and recognition that their facilities are practising health and safety protocols that meet or exceed the guidelines.
The approach was inspired by the October "Virtual Visit to Capitol Hill" that the AAMA organised with their Washington-based federal advocates. During that visit the three associations met with three senior staff members from the national conference who requested the letter from the industry coalition detailing the challenges Covid-19 has presented to the sector
