Legoland theme parks operator Merlin Entertainment is reported to be considering opening one of its venues in New York, US, as well as having firm plans to target South Korea.
The company recently opened in Japan. Merlin currently has eight Legoland parks, which have fuelled a 35 per cent rise in sales in the first half of the year.
Revenues in the period were up 34.6 per cent, year on year, while overall group revenue grew 19.4 per cent. The year saw five new Midway attractions opened, including the new Little BIG City in Berlin, Germany.
