Legoland New York Resort in the US has announced that it will open a new Peppa Pig experience next year.
The Lego Duplo Peppa Pig Playground will immerse guests in the world of Peppa Pig, with a number of immersive attractions and experiences.
It will be the first collaboration between Lego Duplo and Peppa Pig in North America, with the attraction located in Goshen, 65 miles from New York City.
Spanning just over 13,000sq.ft, the playground will be designed to feel like a toy box, featuring several elements from the Peppa Pig universe, including Peppa’s house, Daddy Pig’s red car and Grandpa Pig’s boat.
Matt Proulx, senior vice president of global experience, partnerships and music at Hasbro, said: “For 20 years, Peppa Pig has told stories that reflect the real lives and firsts of pre-schoolers worldwide. We’ve enjoyed a long and successful partnership with Merlin, bringing top-tier experiences to Peppa Pig’s fans. Merlin shares our vision of creating play spaces designed just for little ones, empowering children to embrace every new adventure and leap confidently into all of life’s muddy puddles.”
The divisional director of Legoland New York Resort, Stephanie Johnson, added: “Bringing this Playground to the Resort is a significant milestone for us, greatly enhancing our offerings for our youngest visitors. This thoughtfully designed space will provide an engaging environment where children can experience the joy of Lego building while playing and exploring alongside their favourite characters from the Peppa Pig universe”
