The recent opening of US operator Scene75’s largest FEC yet in Columbus, Ohio has seen the venue use a variety of leading provider’s products and for its laser tag arena, it chose Laserforce.

Laserforce Laserforce

The chain launched with their first centre in Dayton, Ohio, back in 2009 and now have expanded to five different locations, but it didn’t always use Laserforce.

Scene75 CEO Jonah Sandler met with Laserforce’s COO, Jeff Willy, back when their first location was just getting off the ground and the FEC chief explained how their business relationship began.

The first Dayton location opened its doors offering a basic laser tag system, and Willy wanted them to upgrade. “I still recall one of our team’s initial conversations with Jeff where we questioned the durability of the Laserforce packs,” said Sandler.

“To our surprise, we received a video clip within a few hours of the Laserforce team literally driving over a game pack with a truck!  We were hooked from that moment.”

Although, Laserforce doesn’t encourage operators to grab their nearest vest and try this durability test, it is nonetheless confident that that durability remains today.

In 2016, Scene75’s Cincinnati location won the award for best FEC in North America from the highly coveted IAAPA Brass Ring committee with Laserforce’s system contributing to the centre’s achievement.

Sandler paid tribute to the supplier saying: “We like the ease of use, durability, battery life, and perhaps most importantly, the team.”
