A new laser tag venue is to open its doors in Oliver, British Columbia, Canada.

Laser Strike Oliver

Opening on April 15, Laser Strike says it will provide advanced gameplay in a unique setting.

Castanet.net reports that co-owner Warren Brown brought in a specialised painter, who worked for more than two weeks on transforming the indoor venue.

The arena features numerous different sections, including a spaceship, broken buildings and sewers.

Laser Strike’s story will take influence from The War of the Worlds, with players taking on a rooftop alien invasion. A full-scale War of the Worlds alien prop is to be installed.

More than 10 different game types are available for players to try out, including capture the flag and bomb defusal.

Alongside the attraction, there is a party and viewing room, while food from a nearby restaurant can also be ordered when booking online.
