The largest indoor theme park in Florida is set to open shortly. Dezerland Park, Orlando, will have themes to attract car fanatics and movie fans.

Dezerland

No date has been set for its opening, but it will be based upon the world’s largest collection of motorbilia, including movie stars’ cars, military vehicles and vintage cars.

It will open in stages in International Drive, Orlando, says the owner, Michael Dezer and will cover an area of 800,000 sq. ft. Deezer is a real estate developer and car collector, a hobby he began 50 years ago.

His collection is now the largest array of classic, vintage and military vehicles in the world. His plan will place the motorbilia as the centrepiece of the park and will include James Bond cars, Batmobile and other iconic vehicles right down to classic Vespa motor scooters. There will be themed areas, including a Bat Cave, Military Pavilion, The Great Gatsby Lounge, Cars of Europe and the Harley Lounge.

A cashless payment system is being brought in from specialist company Sacoa to handle the hundreds of family arcade games, boutique tenpin bowling and a dual go-karting track. There will be six escape rooms, a trampoline park, a Pinball Palace games room, carnival rides and a themed restaurant.
