The first production of King Kong of Skull Island is already sold out, reports BNAE, but the first units are now being delivered to customers who put in early orders.

The game is being widely tipped to dominate the VR sector for some time after site testing – despite the pandemic – showed very high income figures.

The development of the game was first reported during the 2019 IAAPA show in Orlando with looped in-game footage on the BNAE booth.

Middle East distributor Nabil Kassim of Warehouse of Games in Dubai commented: “From the moment we saw the preview of the product at IAAPA 2019, we knew we were looking at what is soon to be a top-selling pivotal title in the global market due to its strong license and the gold-standard of its developer and manufacturer Raw Thrills. We went on to show the video product to key customers, in response to which Magic Planet (Majid Al Futtaim group) had the foresight to order the product immediately for a number of their locations across the region. It’s gratifying to see the first units have come off the production line and are now on the water soon to be installed and in action.”

The next production of the game is due to be released in mid-February. The game uses the latest VR technology from HP and has a story themed over three chapters, progress in which depends upon the player’s reactions during the initial slow-motion events to determine progression.
