The children’s city, KidZania, has opened at the Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, offering 40 role-playing professions for children.

The location opened yesterday at the major shopping and entertainment destination and covers 55,000sq.ft. It takes the usual KidZania format with a scaled-down replica of a city with dressing-up and role-playing in an educational and interactive manner. The venue helps to teach children all about decision-making, teamwork, creativity and social skills.

The first KidZania in The Dubai Mall is one of the most popular children’s attractions for the significant educational and entertainment value it offers. The point was emphasised by Saoud Khoory, director of shopping malls at Aldar Properties that owns and manages the Yas Mall. “This is an award-winning children’s entertainment centre that is appreciated for the educational and leisure value it provides for children. The launch of the second KidZania in the UAE offers our young visitors the opportunity to experience a unique, real-life business and social environment and famliarises them with real-world careers.”
KidZania Abu Dhabi has partnered with well known local corporate entities such as ADNOC, Al Rawabi, the police, fire department, special forces, Pizza Hut, Krispy Kreme, and local media and hotels.
