The pandemic has bred products to counter it, many with applications in the amusement and attractions industry.
Among them is the new Cleanbox company’s Star Series. It comprises a set of four products designed for the rapid decontamination of microphones, mobile phones, keyboards, tablets, laptops, eye glasses and other small electronics and accessories.
The first in the series is The Major, providing 360-degree, log 5+ decontamination with a 99.999 per cent accuracy on any item that fits inside its ten inches by four inches rotating, circular drum. It also has hygiene tracking of any object cleaned, a networked data dashboard for compliance and insurance and a future opt-in mobile app.
