There is no stopping the stream of new openings by Saudi FEC operator Sala Entertainment.
Last weekend it opened Octo Karting, the first in a series of fresh attraction brands to go with its Billy Beez, Jumping Beez, Octo City and Strike 10 bowling venues.
The Nakheel Mall in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, was again the focus where the company already runs an Octo City.
“It is our first Octo Karting,” said Sala Entertainment CEO Mohammed Attia, “but it won’t be the last. We have plans to open a string of FECs and entertainment venues across all of the most popular concepts currently, such as bowling, trampolining and now karting.”
The venue opened on Saturday to an enthusiastic response from aspiring young Saudi drivers. It has a 300 metre track, all indoors, using 14 electric-powered karts. The venue is a stand-alone location, situated opposite the entrance to Octo City. The karts operate with a system of seven in action while the other seven are charging.
