Famous jukebox name AMI has been bought out in California, US, by the Gores Group, an investment company.
AMI Entertainment goes back to 1909 when it was the National Automatic Music Company; since then it has been an established part of the bars and restaurants business, providing music.
AMI today still makes jukeboxes but digital ones and other forms of delivering music to locations. The company has offices in Chicago, Philadelphia, Grand Rapids and the UK.
