AWP and SWP manufacturer JPM International has agreed to deliver Games Warehouse video-based games to more than 6,000 server-based terminals in clubs and pubs across the UK.
Under the agreement JPM will initially deliver the company’s Catchphrase and Hangman 3 SWP games. Additional games will be delivered through Games Warehouse’s Proteus and Paragon video gaming terminals throughout the lifetime of the contract.
Catchphrase is based on the same format as the popular TV show and includes bespoke footage and commentary from the show’s original host, Roy Walker. Hangman 3 is a contemporary take on the traditional game of hangman, with players competing to guess the correct phrase or word.
Based in Nottingham, UK, Games Warehouse supplies coin-operated video-based entertainment systems. Gaming content is developed in-house and also licensed from third party developers.
The selection of third party content is based on the games’ combination of innovation and commercial appeal.
