Following the news in this column last Monday that JPM, one of the founding companies of the modern British AWP business, had been sold to a mystery buyer, further information has reached InterGame.

It seems that the new owner intends to keep much of the current management in place at the Cardiff-based company. Directors Tony Jones and Simon McCarthy will remain in situ. We also understand that JPM three weeks ago placed a number of UK AWP machines on site-test with leading retailers. The machines are targeting the primary managed house business in Britain.

Additionally, several prototypes have gone on test in other European countries and full details will be available at the end of September.
