Tenpin bowling specialist QubicaAMF now has a Japanese distributor. The US-based company has tied up with American Bowling Service, which will have exclusive rights to handle the portfolio of full-size and mini-bowling products.
ABS is the largest manufacturer and distributor of bowling equipment in the Far East and was established in 1964. It is headquartered in Tokyo and sponsored the 37th Japan Open Bowling Tournament in 2013.
ABS replaces Daifuku Plusmore, the previous distributor that had decided to concentrate on machine automation products. Most of its staff that handled bowling have transferred to ABS.
