The Japan Crane Game Association has begun offering certification courses in foreign languages, according to local reports.

The certification, which has been offered in Japanese since 2015, evaluates basic crane game skills and until May had only been offered in Japanese.
On May 2, Chinese-speaking tourists participated in the session delivered with Chinese interpretation, with local reports suggesting that the course will also be offered in English and other languages in the future.
Upon receiving the certification, the tourists were given tokens for the arcade where they could use their new skills to win a real prize.
