Digital Centre America has appointed Paul Jacobs to the position of vice president of sales and marketing.
Jacobs will oversee the sales and marketing of Digital Centre’s full product line of photo booths to the Americas. A veteran of over 40 years in the coin-op amusement industry, he brings extensive experience to the company. He has worked in all sectors of the industry - operating, distributing and manufacturing.
Previous roles have included president of SNK Corporation of America and executive vice president of Data East USA, both based in northern California. After moving to Florida, he served as president of BMI Gaming and most recently spearheaded US kiddie ride sales for Falgas Industries. He has also owned his own coin-op distributorship and operating companies in his native state of Wisconsin.
“I am pleased to have joined Digital Centre, a progressive company with a great track record,” he said. “The photo booth market is strong here in the US and I am grateful for the support our distributors have given us.”
Digital Centre is a multinational company founded in 1997 which has factories and offices in both Europe (Barcelona, Spain) and North America (Miami, Florida) and exports products to over 45 countries around the world.
“We enthusiastically welcome Paul to our team,” said Josep Tarres, CEO of Digital Centre. “His leadership has already brought us an increased presence in both the coin-op marketplace and the event rental business.”
