Purcell and Associates, a leading gaming consultancy firm, based in Ireland, has initiated the inaugural Irish Gaming Conference to provide a forum for national and international speakers to contribute to the development of the gaming industry in the country.
Following the published report from the Irish Casino Regulation Committee, the conference has been created as a forum to allow all sectors of the industry explore the potential ramifications of legislation for its particular field of gaming.
Companies involved in adult gaming centres, bingo, card clubs, bookmakers, casinos and lottery providers, will all be catered for at an event that will also have specialist contributions from licensing and legislation experts, social responsibility and problem gambling experts as well as financial and anti-money laundering experts.
Confirmed speakers include Peter Hannibal, group eGaming director of the Gala Coral Group, Robert Corbett, partner at Arthur Cox Solicitors, Geoffrey Godbold, chief executive officer GamCare, Norman Crowley, chief executive officer Inspired Gaming and Tom Kavanagh, deputy chief executive officer of the UK Gambling Commission.
The event will be held at the Maryborough Hotel and Spa in Cork, Ireland, from September 23 -24, 2008.
