After very positive feedback from both exhibitors and visitors, the organiser of the InterFun Expo, held in Leeds in April of this year, has announced dates for a 2020 event.
InterGame Events has secured the same venue, New Dock Hall, at the Royal Armouries complex in Leeds, UK, for April 28 and 29, 2020.
Increased floor space has been made available to the company for the show and it is set to expand into still more aspects of the overall attractions industry, with an increased appeal for play centres, leisure and adventure zones, holiday parks, family entertainment centres and family eateries.
The B2B show, that attracted 51 exhibitors at its inaugural event this year, was an instant hit, vividly demonstrated by the feedback quotes that may be accessed here together with a promotional video shot during the show.
Christine Butterworth, managing director of InterGame Events, said: “The expo has immediately established itself as a premier event in the north of England in the first half of the calendar. It was a great market place for anyone with products for that wide cross-section of the pay-to-play attractions and adventure business. The exhibitors told us that they found that they were dealing with a whole new visitor profile; quite different from anyone they normally meet at other industry events.
“The initial start was a very positive one for us and we plan now to grow the exhibition annually to bring through fresh ideas for both the traditional attractions industry and the new technologies that are now appearing internationally.”
