Major debit card systems provider Intercard has announced the installation of its readers at a major Kazakhstan family entertainment centre.
The Fantastic Park, a new FEC in the Sputnik shopping centre in Almaty, the former Kazakh capital, opened only in January.
The 2,100sq.m indoor FEC has 10 rides, a major arcade area and toddlers’ playground. The theming depicts European streets, a rally in the desert, an underwater world, skyscrapers and other effects.
The location was designed and is operated by Rides and Games, whose director Damir Blyalov said: “The Intercard system works well for us.
“We use our own branded play cards through the Intercard i3 readers which permit us to change to [near-field communications systems] or RFID in the future.”
