Dan Snook talks with Triotech founder and CEO, Ernest Yale, about the company’s 20-year journey, plans for the future and the South Pole.

Triotech

It’s been 20 years since one Ernest Yale founded Triotech in Joilette, just north-east of Montreal. Since then, the Canadian innovator has progressed to the absolute fore of the out-of-home, interactive attraction industry. It now has over 350 installations in place in over 60 countries, on every continent. Except Antarctica. Come on guys - I’m sure the good folk at McMurdo Station could use an XD Dark Theatre. Or at the very least, a Typhoon. Must do better, mes amis!

Joking aside, if there’s anyone and any company that could negotiate an Antarctic installation, it’s probably Yale and Triotech. Although getting to the point where such a feat could be achieved doesn’t happen overnight – it’s the result of drive, enthusiasm, vision and tenacity.
