A new inflatable park’s opening day in the UK was spoiled last week when the venue had to be closed down and evacuated.
The Inflata Nation in Ipswich, housed in the former Unit 17 night club in Cardinal Park, had to close when a small part of the arena had deflated because a blower had failed.
This apparently set off a "strong smell of glue" which forced the location and nearby restaurants to shut down temporarily.
Said Inflata Nation: “We are disappointed that the opening day was disrupted but the matter was out of our hands.” The unit subsequently reopened on the following day.
